If you are looking for a one stop shop for all your digital medicine news, then Dr. Eric Topol’s Twitter feed (@EricTopol) should be on your must-read list.
For anyone working or interested in the digital medicine field, the man needs no introduction. But for the few of you who have yet to embrace social media (or books, or scientific journals, or the news media), Dr. Topol is the founder and director of the Scripps Translational Science Institute, as well as an Editor-in-Chief of npj Digital Medicine. He has published over 1100 peer-reviewed articles and authored two bestselling books on the future of medicine. His principal scientific focus has been on applying genomic and digital tools to individualize medicine. With over 108,000 followers on Twitter, he is regularly named among the top scientists to follow on social media.
